Woodworking Fundamentals



This introductory course is designed for those interested in learning how to use basic hand tools around the home and in a workshop. The course covers the types and use of measuring tools, carpenter squares, various screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, chisels, hand drills, and saws. Also included in the course will be discussions on general safety rules and the types and characteristics of woods used in woodworking.
